Making a claim
To make a claim, contact Protect Your Bubble (by phone or post) as soon as possible to report the claim, complete the required steps and provide the requested information (like proof of ownership). Then pay your excess and wait for your iPhone to be repaired or replaced.

Protect Your Bubble can insure any model of Apple iPhone as long as it’s of a certain age.
Your first gadget needs to be under six months old, your second gadget needs to be under 12 months old and third (or more) gadget need to be under 36 months old when you purchase the policy. If you’d like to add gadgets onto your policy after the initial purchase, they’ll need to be under 12 months old.

With some home insurance policies you can receive cover for your iPhone, but there are usually some limitations. So to cover your mobile phone completely, you may want to upgrade your current policy or purchase dedicated Apple iPhone insurance for peace of mind.
iPhone insurance is the best way to protect your Apple phone, especially if:
You have a history of dropping and breaking your phone, or it’s previously been stolen
If your phone is expensive and/or you’ve signed a long-term contract
You can’t afford to replace your mobile and wouldn’t want to downgrade to a cheaper model if it were stolen/broken etc.
With Protect Your Bubble, the cost of your cover will depend on a number of factors, including:
Your personal details
The value of your iPhone
The make and model of your iPhone
How many gadgets you want to cover – Get a 15% Endsleigh discount on up to two gadgets, or insure three gadgets for £15.99 per month.
Although cracked screens are protected as standard under Protect Your Bubble’s iPhone insurance, you’ll only be covered if the damage affects the phone’s functionality. In this case, you’d make a claim and get your iPhone repaired or receive a replacement.
If it’s just your screen that’s damaged, Apple will usually be able to repair this for a small charge. This may even be less than the excess on your policy.

With Protect Your Bubble, your excess will cost between £50 and £150 depending on your iPhone make, model and type of claim.
If you’re worried about losing your phone, you can choose to add optional accidental loss to give you extra peace of mind. This costs an extra £1.50 per month.
A replacement cost is the amount of money needed to replace one of the items you want to cover on your Everywhere Student Pack insurance.
Our Everywhere Student Packs each have a limit which means that you won't be covered for items that are more expensive than the replacement cost on your statement of insurance.
Maximum placement costs for our Everywhere Student Packs are as follows:
£1,000 pack = Items that cost no more than £500 are covered
£1,500 pack = Items that cost no more than £750 are covered
£2,500 pack = Items that cost no more than £1,250 are covered
Let’s give you an example.
Jack just bought a new laptop which cost him £300. He then takes out our Everywhere Student Pack insurance which gives him £1,000 of cover. Jack also knows that he wouldn’t be able to claim for anything more expensive than the maximum replacement cost of £500 on this pack.
A few months later, Jack’s laptop is dropped and damaged. Because the maximum replacement cost on Jack’s policy is £500 and his laptop cost £300, this means that he can make a claim. Had Jack's laptop cost more than £500, it wouldn't be covered and Jack would be unable to claim.
It's always worth checking that your items don't cost more than the maximum replacement cost when taking out our Everywhere Student Packs. If any of your items do cost more than the highest replacement cost (£1,250), you can choose to build your own cover.
