Fees and charges explained
We charge fees to cover the costs of setting up, servicing and cancelling policies. This allows us to maintain high levels of service while we continue to invest in solutions to improve our processes and develop our communication platforms. All fees are retained by Endsleigh and are not payable to the insurer.
We will always be clear and transparent about our fees, providing information before you purchase the policy, as well as confirmation afterwards.
These are some of the fees you might come across:
Intermediary Service Fee - This fee is included in your premium and covers the cost of arranging your policy. This fee will be applied when you take out a New Business and Renewal policy with us.
Mid-term adjustment fee - This fee covers the cost of servicing your policy when changes need to be made during the policy, e.g. a change of address.
Administration fee within 14 day cooling off period - This fee is charged if you cancel your policy within 14 days of the policy start date.
Cancellation fee after cooling off - This fee is charged if you cancel your policy after the first 14 days from the policy start date.
Termination fee - We may cancel your policy by sending you seven days’ notice in writing to your last known address. This will only happen if we find that information you have provided us with is incorrect and we are no longer able to offer you cover. We will refund any premium which may be due to you in accordance with the terms and conditions of the policy. In the event we terminate your policy, a termination fee will be charged.
Contact Centre Setup Fee - This fee covers the cost of setting up your policy and is applied to Home and Landlord policies that are transacted over the telephone (offline) and at renewal (however transacted). The charge is applied to each individual policy.
