With over 55 years in the education community, we were originally established by NUS to champion affordable insurance for students, when others wouldn’t. We have a strong history of providing market-leading insurance solutions for students, teachers, alumni and education establishments. And as well as an integral focus on education, we also have deep roots in other industries such as charity, commercial and landlord to name a few.
2021 saw us launch our brand-new student app, My Endsleigh. As well as insurance, the app also provides free access to other features key to helping students through their time at university. We're seeking passionate, skilled and hard-working individuals to help us do what we do best and make a big difference in our customers' lives.
Our brand mission is simple. It's to make sure that we're "For students. For Life."
We're a team of ambitious, knowledgeable and dedicated people working to constantly improve the lives of students.
We try and review all applications as soon as possible however timescales can vary depending on the type of vacancy and the volume of applicants. We aim to keep candidates updated throughout all stages of the process and this is usually via email, however you can also log in to your account to view the progress of your application.
We appreciate your interest in working at Endsleigh and the time taken to apply for a role, therefore we will always respond to all applicants regarding their applications.
Unless told otherwise, your interview will usually include a run-through of your career history as well as a series of competency-based interview questions. Some roles may also require a task-based presentation.
Don’t forget that your interview is also a chance for you to find out more about us, the role you’re interviewing for and to ask any other questions you might have about working at Endsleigh.
If you are attending an assessment centre, these typically last for around two hours and will include a face-to-face interview, group exercise and an individual exercise.
You should bring your passport or birth certificate and your National Insurance card as proof of work entitlement in the UK. Please also bring proof of qualifications from the last 5 years.
We also highly recommend that you get to know more about us and the role you are applying for before the interview so that you can ask any questions you might have and go away feeling you have all the information you need. If you would like any further details about our applications process, please email us: firstname.lastname@example.org.
We know that career progression is never far off many people’s minds. That’s why we try our best to help our staff grow as much as they can during their time with us.
We do this by offering training and development opportunities to our staff, whilst providing studying support to obtain industry recognised qualifications.
We also prioritise internal promotions where opportunities arise, as well as providing an open and healthy work environment through various initiatives.
These include our monthly 'Let's Connect' meetings where our senior team give a live business update to all colleagues and answer any questions that arise.
Plus, we have a successful Employee Assistance Programme which encourages and supports staff to prioritise their wellbeing.
We're one big team. We have a close-knit community and a culture that promotes each of our key Endsleigh behaviours.
We do as we say.
We ask why and so what?
We find a path to yes.
We get our customers.
We have fun.
We try, we learn and we go again.
Put simply, we encourage testing and learning, allowing our staff to reach their goals with as much support as possible.
Based in the country-side outskirts of Cheltenham, our Head Office is located in Endsleigh Park on Shurdington Road – just off the A417 and close to the M5 – making our location highly commutable.
We have modern offices with newly refurbished kitchens, speciality bean-to-cup coffee machines and picturesque views from desk windows.
Most of our teams are based in our Head Office and have the option to utilise the facilities in line with our flexible working policy. We have an open-plan office. In 2020 we turned our private offices into meeting rooms so that our senior leadership team could be more present amongst the workforce.
Endsleigh Park’s grounds are also a huge benefit to working with us – making lunchtime walks/outdoor team meetings (in the summer!) much more enjoyable. We also have an onsite gym, football pitch and tennis courts – plus, not to mention free parking!
We hold regular colleague initiatives to show our people how much we value them. Some examples include ‘Spin the Wheel’ to win weekly prizes, ‘Pimp your hot chocolate’ and Christmas advent calendars.
Like many companies across the world, we’ve learnt a lot from the pandemic. After listening to our staff’s preferences and wanting to support their work-life balance, we launched an official hybrid working policy.
Whilst we will always remain an office-based business - believing in the importance of collaborating and working together as a team - upon successful completion of probation, colleagues have the opportunity to request flexible working arrangements through our hybrid policy.
Securing a position with Endsleigh also means that you'll qualify for numerous rewards and benefits. Here are some of them:
We think it’s important to be upfront about salaries, so they’re able to view for each role on our website.
