Do you cover lease cars?
If you’re leasing your vehicle, you may find that most standard leasing agreements in the UK do not include car insurance as standard. With car insurance being a legal requirement, it’s important to ensure you have a minimum of third party car insurance in place before you drive.
We can cover lease cars under our standard car insurance policy, providing the lease is 12 months or longer and the owner and registered keeper is the name on the lease.
If the lease agreement is in the name of your employer, then you can put the owner and registered keeper as being 'company car'.
If the lease agreement is in the name of anyone else then we unfortunately cannot offer cover. This is subject to all other rating factors being acceptable.
