What does landlord home emergency cover?
Home emergency is optional cover that can be added to your landlord buildings insurance policy to protect your property against the loss of essential services, and to make your property safe and secure following unexpected damage.
As this is unexpected emergency cover only, home emergency does not cover against routine maintenance costs of wear and tear, or damage caused by faulty workmanship or DIY.

We can also offer you cover for overnight accommodation costs if your property becomes unsafe or insecure, and there will be no excess to pay on the policy, although there is a policy limit of £500 which also includes cover for parts and labour.
