Backpacker insurance
Any new policy purchased will not cover any cancellation where you cannot travel or choose not to travel because the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) (or any other equivalent government body in another country) advises against travel due to a pandemic. We will cover your medical costs related to coronavirus provided you haven't travelled against FCDO guidelines (or any other equivalent government body in another country) or medical advice.
What's covered with backpacker insurance?
We include cover for medical expenses and the cost of flying you home should you fall ill or get injured on holiday. Our travel insurance will also cover theft or loss of your baggage and belongings, including cover for your cash should the unexpected happen abroad. We use a single provider for our travel insurance.
