Protect your entire property under a single policy

Having a rent guarantee policy in place can protect you from being out of pocket as a landlord.

Economic times have led to landlords looking to protect their rental property investment and their income more than ever before. Even the best tenants can find their circumstances changing, resulting in them being unable to meet their rental commitments.

You can choose between two different levels of cover - both include legal cover and are available for either a 6 or 12 month period.

In order to purchase a standard rent guarantee insurance policy, you must have a tenancy agreement in place and your tenants must have been successfully referenced.

Our standard rent guarantee insurance includes cover for:

  • Recovery of rent arrears - paid for a maximum of 5 months out of 6 on both a 6 and 12 month policy

Our standard policy also provides legal cover:

  • Up to £15,000 worth of legal expenses cover
  • Cover for disputes relating to repossession and eviction
  • Cover for disputes relating to the recovery of rent arrears
  • Legal costs and expenses for rent arrears and eviction

As standard, you'll have access to a panel of solicitors to provide you with legal help and advice on a range of matters, not limited to letting a property.

The excess on our standard rent guarantee insurance is equal to one month's rent.

In order to purchase a gold rent guarantee insurance policy, you must have a tenancy agreement in place and your tenants must have been successfully referenced.

Our gold rent guarantee insurance includes cover for:

  • Recovery of rent arrears paid for a maximum of 5 months out of 6 on a 6 month policy
  • Recovery of rent arrears paid for a maximum of 11 months out of 12 on a 12 month policy
  • Payment of up to 50% rent for three months between the successful eviction and you finding new tenants

Our gold policy also provides legal cover:

  • Up to £50,000 worth of legal expenses cover
  • Cover for disputes relating to repossession and eviction
  • Cover for disputes relating to the recovery of rent arrears
  • Legal costs and expenses for rent arrears and eviction
  • Prosecution defence cover if the tenant takes you to court
  • Property damage, nuisance and trespass cover, subject to a £250 excess
  • Accommodation expenses cover - up to £75 a day for a month in the event you are trying to regain possession of your property

As standard, you'll have access to a solicitor to provide you with legal help and advice on a range of matters, not limited to letting a property.
