British summer is just about here and once again we’ve donned our colourful shorts and flip flops, generously applied the sun cream and dusted off those rusty BBQS, only to be greeted with rain.

Cape Town- South Africa

Marrakech-Morocco
Wander around the old town alleyways, try out your bartering techniques in the maze of souks or visit some of the extravagant palaces. It's easy to see why so many visitors are captivated by Marrakech. Luckily this city is one of the cheapest to get around quickly, with a bus ticket costing just £0.27 and a taxi just £2.48 per 5 mile journey.
Siem Reap- Cambodia

Chiang Mai- Thailand
As southern Thailand is hit with hefty price tags, those prepared to travel a little further north will make their money go further.
