When should I buy my insurance?
Once you have your work placement confirmed you will be thinking about organising your travel plans and accommodation for whilst you are away. Make sure you buy your insurance as soon as you commit to these costs – this may be a number of weeks before your trip starts, but it means that, once you have purchased your insurance policy, you will be covered to claim back any irrecoverable costs if you have to unexpectedly cancel your work placement abroad .
