A new survey has revealed that many Young Drivers often get distracted whilst behind the wheel.
In particular, motorists in Wales show the worst driving habits in the UK, reports the Western Mail. Many drivers are often seen texting, map reading and eating whilst in charge of a vehicle.
The research also revealed that such dangerous driving could be mainly responsible for the average 198,980 accidents that occur on British roads.
Cyril Davies, a self-employed van driver from Flint, said, " Girls on the phone and doing their hair and make-up, salesmen on phones, drivers reading maps in the fast lane of motorways - I have even seen one man working on a laptop while driving."
"It annoys me when I see parents who let their children travel with no seat belts in the back," he added.
Young Drivers are being warned that adopting bad habits could lead to a rise in their insurance premiums if they are forced to claim on their motor policy.
