Space travel could be the future for the more adventurous traveller, according to a new report.
Holiday Insurance provider Churchill has outlined the possibility to holidaymakers being able to venture into space for their two-week break by 2050.
The cost of a week long holiday on an orbital space station could start at £575,000 and Churchills World Travel 2050 Report predicts around 750,000 people could afford the holiday of a lifetime.
Mike Ketteringham, head of Churchill Travel Insurance, said: "Although there are currently people planning to pay $200,000 (£115,000) for a sub-orbital space flight in 2008, we are looking further afield to a time where holidays to orbital space hotels are possible.
"A holiday at a research station with hotel facilities won't be about luxury or high-tech accommodation, but will give people the opportunity to be one of the first people in the world to spend time in space."
However, anyone planning a trip, whether to space or Spain, is being advised to ensure they have adequate Holiday Insurance to cover any foreseen circumstances such as delayed flights or unexpected medical treatment.
