A journalist has had to fork out almost £170 in hotel bills after his flight was delayed by fog.
The case of James Barber, who was flying out on a trip organised by a PR firm, demonstrates the importance of getting a decent Travel Insurance policy for all foreign trips.
Mr Barber has been unable to recoup the costs from his employer or the company who organised the trip.
"The hotel room cost £118 and the meal £50 but I thought the bill would be covered," he told HoldTheFrontPage.com.
Recent research suggested that many business travellers don't think about Travel Insurance before they leave.
