New travel insurance deal launched

A leading Travel Insurance provider has launched a new kid-friendly offer to consumers.

Nationwide has announced that its single trip Travel Insurance now comes with a special "kids go free" offer.

Families purchasing the single trip policy will be able to insure up to four children without any additional costs as Nationwide continue to restructure their Travel Insurance products.

The single trip Travel Insurance can help protect holidaymakers against a number of unforeseen circumstances such as emergency medical treatment, cancellation as well as stolen or lost belongings. The policy is also available to individuals, couples and single-parent families planning a trip this year.

"As summer approaches and thoughts turn to holidays and trips abroad, it is important that people have adequate Holiday Insurance, regardless of whether they are travelling alone or as a family," said Robin Bailey, Nationwide insurance director.
