Travel Insurance may be the last thing on football fans' minds when they head off to Portugal this month.

But anyone hoping to watch England in action at Euro 2004 would do well to get themselves covered before they head off.

An English win in Euro 2004 would see customers at Churchill having their travel cover refunded in full.

Some insurers are even offering to refund Travel Insurance premiums if England return home with the trophy.

More than half those heading away from these shores this winter for a 'city break' are expected to disregard Travel Insurance according to new post Office figures, with experts counselling caution.

As many as 54 per cent of all holidaymakers will simply not bother with Travel Insurance when jetting off for a city break, as opposed to just 24 per cent of those planning a two-week trip.
