Check all drivers are covered this Easter

17 March 2005

If you're planning a few days away this Easter and want your friends and family to share the driving, it's vitally important to request a Temporary Additional Driver (TAD) clause to be added to your Motor Insurance policy.

That's the warning issued today by Privilege Insurance, which sees the requests for TADs double in the run-up to the Easter break, but is still concerned that many motorists may not be insuring their additional drivers.

The average TAD request spans just eight and a half days according to Privilege - ideal for the four-day Easter break this year.

Many TAD insurance policy clauses run for up to 30 days, however.
