Football clubs could benefit from a range of new UK mortgage linked products.
Telford United is encouraging its fans to take out a special UK mortgage that would help earn money for the football club.
The scheme is a joint initiative with the West Bromwich Building Society and is aimed at the club's most loyal and home owning supporters.
For every ten UK mortgages that fans take out, West Bromwich Building Society will pay the club a total of £1000 and Telford United are hoping to raise around £10,000 before the close of the season.
"Although we only recently opened a branch in the area, we have been constantly aware of the vast potential that both this town and football club have," said Jenny Cartwright, branch development manager at West Bromwich Building Society.
She added: "We believe this unique initiative will offer the fans a super deal on their mortgage and earn AFC Telford United much needed revenue at the same time. Everyone wins."
