New information section advises on life insurance

A new information section to the successful Surgerydoor website will enable users to obtain information on a wide range of health issues including life insurance advice.

Surgerydoor.co.uk, operated by Intouch with Health Limited since 1999, attracts around 100,000 regular users and provides a wide range of information on all aspects of health and welfare including details of medical conditions and surgical operations.

The updated website, which uses information supplied by the Scottish Centre for infection and Environmental Health (SCIEH), is also expanding its coverage to include advice for those travelling abroad by providing guidance on holiday insurance and necessary vaccinations.

"There are dozens of travel sites that offer great deals on flights and accommodation as well as insurance should something go wrong, what travellers from the UK have here is a resource to help them avoid having to use their insurance," said Mark Harris Surgerydoor's webmaster.
