UK mortgage holders may benefit from a spring clean of their finances in 2006 especially following the traditional Christmas overspend.
Bradford & Bingley have joined forces with television cleaning celebrities "Kim & Aggie" to help encourage homeowners to shop around for a better mortgage deal and tidy away any money worries.
The advertising campaign will feature the dirt busting duo looking around for the best rates on a wide range of products including UK mortgages and remortgages. In addition, anyone applying for a Bradford & Bingley product will be automatically ended into a competition to win the services of a cleaner for a year.
"Its always a good idea to start the New Year with good intentions and working towards a healthier bank balance should be high up on the list of resolutions," said Duncan Pownall, mortgage development manager for Bradford & Bingley.
He added: "Wrapping multiple borrowings into one place either through remortgaging or taking out a personal loan - is a good way of structuring payments and making sure the debt gets cleared."
