If your new year's resolution was to take out a life insurance policy it may have been forgotten already, new research has suggested.

Friends Provident found that 29 million people have ditched their commitments less than two months after making them.

Sorting out the finances is a popular resolution for the new year but it seems the commitment of British consumers is often found wanting.
