Life insurance presentation

Prudential is planning to host a presentation to allow investors and analysts to learn more about the company's UK life insurance operations.

The presentation will be overseen by Mark Wood, the chief executive of Prudential UK and Europe and will aim to provide an overview of the company's strategy, as well as reporting progress on products, distribution and customer services developments.

Prudential recently reported strong first quarter results and has experienced a growth in sales and demand.

Overall, the company reported an 11 per cent increase in sales across its businesses in Asia, the US and Britain over the quarter.

"All of our businesses are in good shape and are clearly continuing to deliver on the momentum we saw in the fourth quarter," Philip Broadley, Prudential's finance director, told the Guardian.
