Young Drivers are not the only romantics on the road, according to a new survey,
Research by RIAS, a specialist over 50s insurer, discovered that older people are just as spontaneous and enthusiastic as their younger driver counterparts when it comes to love.
The insurer found that almost 60 per cent of those in the over 50s age group believe in love at first sight the same amount as those aged 25 and under. Whilst, men believe in instant love almost as much as women, wannabe lovers should avoid London as the capital's residents are the most unromantic in the country.
Janet Connor, managing director of RIAS, said: "Despite the ever increasing divorce rate, our survey shows that the over 50s are as rose tinted about love as those much younger."
She added: "Being in your 50s is increasingly seen as a time to kick back and enjoy your freedom. Its certainly heartening to see that people in their 50s are still as open to love as they were 25 years ago and that lifes experiences havent jaded them."
