Women's Car Insurance improved by good car parking

Thu, 22 Dec 2005

Women could help to lower their Car Insurance premiums by ensuring they leave their vehicle in an award winning car park.

The Car Park Association Society has published a list of 35 parking sites that offer the motorists a relaxed and happy parking experience as well as ensuring good security.

Kevin Beresford, head of the association, believes the shortlist of car parks will help motorists make well-informed choices of how to stop thieves breaking in to their unattended vehicles.

The UK's number one car park, according to Mr Beresford, is the St James multi-storey car park in King's Lynn.

He added: "It is spacious, well lit and adorned with beautiful red brickwork complemented by slinky silver vertical aluminium fins that create a rippling wave affect. It has good security too. This Lady in Red simply oozes class."

Over 20 per cent of Car Insurance claims for accidents and thefts come from incidents in car park incidents, and choosing the right parking space could help to low the cost of Women's Car Insurance cover.
