Search online when 'drive away' Car Insurance expires

Customers who get free Car Insurance when they purchase a vehicle could find a good renewal deal by searching online.

Many cars such as the new Honda Civic are being offered with so-called "drive away" insurance. The policies provide instant cover for purchasers of new cars and means they can shop around for the best long-term deal rather than rush into buying a Car Insurance policy.

However, customers should double-check that any drive away policy meets their needs and is not factored into the original cost of the new vehicle.

The growing number of insurance providers who offer online Car Insurance quotes has increased steadily over recent years and means that greater competition can now allow the consumer to reduce their annual motoring costs significantly.
