Resolve to get a better Women's Car Insurance deal

Tue, 03 Jan 2006

One New Year resolution worth keeping this year could be ensuring a competitive deal on Women's Car Insurance.

A survey by Friends Provident shows that over 14 million Brits expect to break their New Year resolutions by the end of January. Just 21 per cent, two in ten, expect to make a resolution during 2006.

Last year, saw 29 million people – 87 per cent of those who had made resolutions – break their promise by the beginning of the summer season.

However, many female motorists are being advised that agreeing to shop around for the best Car Insurance deals could help boost their financial position this year.

"It's almost become a national joke that we all set a New Year resolution on 1st January only to have broken it by the 31st," said Christine Foyster, head of investments at Friends Provident.

She added: "However, the whole tradition of setting a resolution has clear benefits in at least getting people to think more about the things they should be doing whether saving more, starting a pension or looking after their health."

Finding the best deal on Women's Car Insurance is unlikely to ensure you give up smoking or lose weight but it could mean you have a little extra to spend on maintaining those other vices.
