More and more consumers are finding it easier and cheaper to arrange their Car Insurance online.
A new survey conducted by Experian supports the growing trend towards people preferring to shop via the internet rather than on the high-street, particularly because it can lead to substantial savings.
Many respondents believe that online shopping offers them a wide range of choice as well as allowing people access to products such as Car Insurance 24/7 rather than just during normal office hours this is particularly vital for those who work full-time.
"Home shopping is in its element as todays consumers are pressed for time and looking for easier ways to shop," said Gillian Buttree, of Experian.
"A combination of convenience and competitive pricing compared to whats on offer in the high street is driving consumers to shop from home."
UK consumers are already the leading online shoppers in Europe accounting for 69 per cent of all online European sales, and the growing popularity of broadband internet access is likely to increase future online Car Insurance sales.
