Car Insurance may be vital for all motorists but so could checking a car's battery.
A new survey from RAC shows that over 17 per cent of roadside breakdowns are due to a flat battery and the predicted cold weather could mean more motorists being stranded over the coming months.
Drivers may find their battery flat because of a number of reasons including increased use of lights, heater and wipers or if a car has been left sitting for a lengthy period.
However, a simple device could mean motorists won't have to rely on breakdown companies to get them back on the road.
Purchasing a charging device, such as Sparkrite's new Booster Starter and Charger product, could deliver the extra power needed to jump start a flat battery.
"With a Sparkrite booster there is no reason to be late for work. Its really easy to use, even for motorists with no experience in car maintenance. You dont need to be waiting for breakdown services or risk buying a battery that you dont really need," said Mark Cornwall of Car Parts Direct.
