With our gap year travel insurance policy you can customise your cover depending on the type of gap year you are going to take. 

A gap year travel insurance policy will cover you for up to 1 year and includes cover for medical expenses if you were to become ill. It will also cover you if your belongings are lost or stolen, and includes cover for your cash.

Adventure gap year insurance

No matter how many countries you want to visit or activities you plan on taking part in, our adventure gap year insurance will cover you. This could include a gorilla safari, trekking in the jungle or working in a bar, to name just a few possibilities! The policy includes free cover for over 100 sports and activities and will even cover you if you decide to work whilst on your gap year.

Work abroad gap year insurance

If you decide to work abroad on your gap year you need to make sure you are adequately insured. This gap year travel insurance will cover you while you work abroad for up to 12 months, whether it is paid or volunteer work. This includes teaching, au pair work, sports coaching, bar work, fruit picking and even tour guiding. You will also receive a 10% discount if you buy your gap year travel insurance online.
