Features and benefits.

Cover for your belongings inside your room

Cover includes desktop computers, TVs, books and your clothes against theft or flood. Our research shows that the things students take to uni are worth an average of £4,000 - could you afford to replace yours?

Laptop, gadgets and download cover

Cover available from £500 to £6,000. This cover includes items such as your laptop, iPad, MP3 player, camera and any other portable electrical item against theft, loss or accidental damage anywhere in the UK and 30 days worldwide!

 

Cover also includes digital download cover up to £1000 to protect your pictures, movies and music against theft or loss.

 

An excess of £50 will need to be paid in the event of a claim for items up to and including £1500. An excess of £100 will need to be paid in the event of a claim for items valued over £1500.

 

Mobile phones are excluded from this section please include them under mobile phone cover.

Mobile phone cover

Add cover for your mobile phone, including smartphones. Includes cover for LOSS, theft and damage anywhere in the UK and 30 days worldwide.

 

An excess of £50 will need to be paid in event of a claim for accidental damage or theft. An excess of £75 will need to be paid in the event of a claim for loss.

Cover for university books and university property on loan

We will pay for sums which you become legally liable to pay following loss of or damage to university library books or university property on loan. We cover your university books and property on loan whilst:

  • In your term time address.
  • In your permanent home address.
  • In the university.
  • In direct transit between your term time address and permanent home address at the beginning and end of each university term.

Cover for items you take outside your room (non electrical)

This cover includes items such as your jewellery, watches, glasses, bags and any other non electrical item against theft, accidental damage and loss every time you take them out of your room, anywhere in the UK and for up to 30 days worldwide! Cover available from £300 to £2,000.

 

An excess of just £50 would need to be paid in the event of a claim.

Musical instrument cover

Cover your musical instruments against accidental loss or damage anywhere in the UK up to £3,000. Simply enter the value of any orchestral and any non orchestral instruments you want to insure.

An excess of just £25 would need to be paid in the event of a claim.

Bicycle cover

You can include cover for your bike on your student insurance policy against theft anywhere in the UK for up to £400.

 

An excess of just £25 would need to be paid in the event of a claim.

Room key cover

With Endsleigh you can cover your student room key(s) against loss or damage even if it's a swipe card. Locksmith charges and reward included!

Cover for your tuition fees, coursework and rent

Reimbursement of your tuition fees and rent if you have to leave university due to illness or a financially supporting parent/guardian is made redundant. Plus! Up to £1000 cover for course work, dissertations, portfolios and re-sitting exams.

Sports injury and equipment cover

Specifically designed for sports enthusiasts. A payment of up to £50,000 following an injury, emergency dental expenses as well as cover for lost or stolen sports equipment.

Cover for legal costs

Up to £50,000 of cover for legal costs relating to employment or tenancy disputes with your landlord.
