Endsleigh can provide car insurance for a number of different vehicles, such as imported cars / grey imports.
Many insurers will not provide cover for imports even if the import is a European version of a UK car but with left hand drive. Endsleigh have provided quotes for imports for many years and may be able to help save you money. We have insured imported Subaru, Nissan, Honda and Toyota vehicles as well as a number of European and American imports.
Often with imported cars, the security fittings can determine whether a quote can be offered or not. Let us know whether you have either category 1 or category 2 Thatcham security fitted to your vehicle when you get your quote, this might help you attain a cheap deal.
If your import is modified, this might be very difficult to insure. Endsleigh can insure modified imports but if the modifications are substantial then you should look for a specialist in this area.
Left hand drive vehicles can often be insured at the same rate as a right hand drive vehicle. If there is a UK equivalent car then sometimes there is no extra premium for the fact that the car was first registered overseas.
