Drivers are being urged to make sure they don't fall for short-term rewards when it comes to purchasing Motor Insurance.
A growing number of Motor Insurance providers are offering new customers incentives to buy certain policies; however, consumers should still shop around to make sure they are getting the best deal in the long-run.
For instance, Tesco Car Insurance is currently offering customers a free £20 Tesco Gift Card when they take out a policy. Yet, the overall cost of the Motor Insurance cover, including the free £20 voucher, could prove more expensive than a policy with another provider.
The best advice for consumers is to shop around for the best deal by obtaining a number of quotes for a range of companies and then factor in the hidden cost of any freebies or incentives before purchasing the new Motor Insurance cover.
