Can I apply for more than one vacancy?

No. We will automatically review all of our vacancies for you, and if you are unsuccessful for your chosen vacancy, we will consider you for any other that may be suitable.

How should I apply?

We encourage all applicants to apply online through our website. If you experience difficulties in doing this or require further help, please contact our HR team on 01242 866900.

How long will it take for someone to contact me?

We aim to contact you as quickly as possible, which is usually within seven days of submitting your application.

How long does the recruitment process take?

It depends on which position you are applying for, but typically for most roles, the selection process takes around 3-4 weeks.

What is the selection process?

The selection process will depend on the role you applied for. For some roles the first stage is a telephone interview. For others it will be a face to face interview or assessment centre.

What is a telephone interview?

The telephone interview will give you the opportunity to give us more information about your skills and life experiences.

What do I need to bring to my interview or assessment centre?

You are required to bring proof of your entitlement to work in the UK to your interview. For most people, this is a passport. If you do not have a passport, then we will need proof of your National Insurance such as your card, a P45, P60 or payslip. We will also require you to bring your original birth certificate.

What is involved in an assessment centre?

Our assessment centres are all individually designed to measure the required skills and attribute for that specific role. A typical assessment centre could include a group discussion on a set topic, a presentation, an ability test and a group exercise. If we require you to prepare anything for your assessment centre, this will be communicated to you with plenty of notice.

What should I wear to my interview or assessment centre?

This is your opportunity to sell yourself and so you should dress smartly.

Will I hear if I'm not successful?

Yes, we will contact you either by letter or email to tell you if you haven't been successful.

If I am not successful, can I apply again?

Yes, you can apply for the same role again after 6 months. For different roles, you can apply immediately
